Victims of Circumstance Community Events in Orange County, CA

We are currently seeking volunteers, community partners, and donations to help support and prepare for two upcoming beginner-friendly tabletop gaming events designed to introduce new players to the hobby, build community, and create welcoming spaces for creativity and connection. (Locations TBA)

Learn to Play Magic: The Gathering

July 26, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

This event is designed to introduce new players to Magic: The Gathering in a fun, supportive, and beginner-friendly environment. Volunteers are needed to help teach game fundamentals, assist with deck building, answer questions, and help create a positive experience for first-time players. We are also seeking donations of beginner-friendly cards, preconstructed decks, gaming supplies, raffle prizes, and other event materials.

Learn to Play Dungeons & Dragons

August 30, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Join us as we introduce new adventurers to the world of Dungeons & Dragons through beginner-friendly one-shot adventures. We are looking for volunteer Dungeon Masters, event staff, and community members willing to assist with setup, player support, and event operations. Donations of dice, miniatures, adventure materials, beginner resources, gaming accessories, and raffle items are greatly appreciated.
